תקציר המחקר

Research Question: How has the COVID-19 pandemic impacted coaching practices globally? Methodology: A global survey of 1,266 coaches from 79 countries was conducted in Summer 2021. The study used quantitative analysis to examine the pandemic’s effects on the coaching industry. Key Findings:

  • Age, platform association, pre-pandemic online coaching experience, and average fee were significant predictors of COVID-19’s impact on coaches.
  • Coaches with less ability to transition online or less online experience reported greater negative impacts.
  • The pandemic accelerated coaching’s shift towards online delivery, likely to continue post-pandemic.
  • Coaches working with online platforms and those with prior online experience fared better during the pandemic.
